This is my lunch. Good idea?
Nice plate. Raw salmon, rice, edamame, avocado — it's balanced, and exactly the kind of meal that keeps you going until evening without an energy crash.

If you have a heavy dinner planned tonight, keep it light on starches. Otherwise, nothing to change.

You've tried before. And stopped.

Weighing your food. Scanning barcodes. Calculating macros down to the gram. You know the drill.

You stuck with it for twelve days. Maybe three weeks. Then life took over — an unexpected dinner, a trip, a busy week — and the app stayed in your phone, silent.

It isn't a lack of motivation. It's the tool that didn't hold up.

Dr. M. Klein · dietitian, Geneva
"The problem with tracking apps is that they turn every meal into a form to fill out. Eating becomes an administrative chore again — the exact opposite of what we were looking for."
Dr. M. Klein · dietitian, Geneva

One conversation. Nothing to learn.

My dinner.
Nice plate. Want me to analyze it?
Yes.
≈ 540 kcal, 38 g of protein. Perfect for your goal.
step 01

You send a photo, a question, or nothing.

Calerys adapts to how you eat, not the other way around. A quick snapshot is enough.

calerys.
I'm going out for Italian tonight.
Are you hungry, or aiming for something light?
Hungry.
Antipasti + pasta with vegetables. Skip the bread. A glass of red if you'd like.
Let's debrief tomorrow.
step 02

It replies like a human.

No tables. No guilt-tripping notifications. A real conversation, in your pocket.

calerys.
Quick weekly check-in.
You stayed on track during the week. On weekends, you skip breakfast — and overcompensate in the evening.
Want to try a protein brunch next Saturday?
Sure.
Perfect. I'll remind you Friday.
step 03

You progress without thinking about it.

Day after day, it knows you better than any app ever has. The adjustments happen on their own.

Not an app. A presence.

Three small things make the difference — and explain why people stick with it.

01 · the tone

A real conversation.

Calerys replies like a human. Not like a dashboard. Not like a notification. Like someone who takes the time to understand what you're saying.

photo · open notebook, spoon, coffee · 4:5
02 · the memory

That gets to know you over time.

The more you talk to it, the more its advice sounds like you. Your constraints, your tastes, your rhythm — Calerys remembers it for you.

03 · the friction

Nothing to download.

No app to forget. No password to recover. Calerys lives inside the conversation you already have every day.

Four conversations, one ordinary day.

No polished scenarios. Here's what Calerys subscribers actually message about — the quick snapshot, the Thursday-night question, the 10pm craving.

This is my lunch. Good idea?
Nice plate. Ratatouille, white bean purée, a poached egg and sourdough — plant-forward, good fiber, enough protein to carry you through the afternoon.

I'm going for Japanese tonight. What do you suggest?
Sushi or ramen?
Sushi. Classic menu.
Aim for 12-14 pieces, mix maki and nigiri. Skip the fried california rolls and tempura sides.
A miso soup to start, edamame on the side. You'll finish full without feeling heavy — and it stays within your weekly target.
And the sake?
One glass, yes. Not three. 😉

I crave sweets at night. It's stronger than me.
After which meal do you usually crave?
After dinner. Around 10pm.
That usually means your dinner is short on protein or fiber. Your brain is hunting for quick fuel.
For tonight: two squares of 70% dark chocolate with a herbal tea. No forbidden food, no guilt.
Tomorrow we'll look at your dinner together. Small tweak, big effect.

1h30 bike ride this morning. I'm hungry. What should I eat?
Endurance ride or did you push hard?
Endurance, easy pace.
Perfect. You need to recover, not refuel like you're riding the Tour de France.
suggestion
3-egg omelette, whole-grain bread, a piece of fruit. Coffee if you want.
You can add cottage cheese if you're still hungry within the hour. Not before.

Not an app. Not a clinic.

Calerys lives in between: the expertise of a real dietitian, the availability of an app. Without the downsides of either.

Frequently asked questions.

Another question?
hello@calerys.com

Are my data and photos private?
Yes. Conversations are end-to-end encrypted by WhatsApp. On the Calerys side, your photos and messages are stored on European servers (Switzerland / France), encrypted at rest. You can export or delete all of your data at any time — in one message to the coach.
Is it really reliable, compared to a real dietitian?
Calerys doesn't replace a certified dietitian for medical cases. For the vast majority of situations — losing a few kilos, eating better day to day, handling a social meal — it offers the same level of advice as a session, with the advantage of being there at the exact moment the question comes up. Our content is reviewed by a committee of dietitians.
How do I unsubscribe?
By sending the word "stop" to the coach, or via the link in any billing email. It's immediate, no questions asked, no follow-ups.
What if I'm diabetic, pregnant, or have allergies?
Calerys can support these situations alongside medical care, never as a replacement. State your context when you start: recommendations are adjusted accordingly, and the coach systematically refers you to a healthcare professional for decisions that require it.
What languages does Calerys speak?
English, French and German today. Italian and Spanish planned for late 2026. The coach automatically detects the language of your first message.
Does it work if I travel often?
Yes — that's actually where Calerys shines. Jet lag, unfamiliar local cuisine, set restaurants: send the menu or a photo of the dish and you get a contextual recommendation within seconds.
Is Calerys available in Switzerland and Germany?
Yes. Calerys is published from Lausanne (Switzerland) and deployed in France, Switzerland and Germany. Billed in € for the eurozone, in CHF for Switzerland. VAT handled automatically.
I don't like WhatsApp. Do you have an app?
Not for now — and that's intentional. WhatsApp is already on 95% of our target's phones. Another app is one more app to open, update, and forget. The coach speaks to you where you're already chatting every day.
