If you feel pain, have an injury or a medical condition, are pregnant, or have any doubt about your ability to exercise, consult a doctor or another qualified professional before following a program, and stop immediately if you feel unwell.
About these Terms
These Terms of Use govern your use of the mobile app “George: AI Gym Coach & Log” (“George”), published under the Calerys brand by Eatten Sàrl, Avenue Jomini 5, 1004 Lausanne, Switzerland (“we”).

The service
George helps you log your strength training (exercises, sets, loads, repetitions and durations), follow programs adapted to your profile, and talk with an AI coach by text, voice or photo.
Who can use George
You must be at least 16 years old to use George.
Your account
You sign in with Google, with Apple or with a code sent by email. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for the activity on your account.
Provide accurate information, and let us know at the address below if you think someone else has access to your account.
You can link George to an existing Calerys account by verifying its phone number, so that Ava, the Calerys nutrition coach, can read your workouts. Linking is optional, and the Calerys service remains governed by its own terms.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use George on your devices, for your own non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms.
George, its software, design, texts, exercise content and brand remain our property or that of our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or reverse engineer them, except where the law expressly allows it.
Acceptable use
When using George, you agree not to:
- break the law or infringe the rights of others;
- send the coach unlawful, hateful or sexually explicit content, or content about other people without their consent;
- try to access other users' accounts or data, disrupt the service, or get around its security measures or usage limits;
- access George or extract its content by automated means, or use it to build a competing service.
Your content
You remain the owner of what you enter or send in George: workouts, profile, messages, voice notes and photos (“your content”).
You allow us to host, process and transmit your content, including to our artificial intelligence providers, only as far as needed to provide the service to you. This permission ends when your content or your account is deleted.
AI-generated replies
The coach's replies and suggested programs are generated by artificial intelligence. They may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation.
Use your own judgement, check loads and technique, and do not rely on the coach for decisions about your health or safety.
Health and safety
George does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and does not replace a doctor, a physiotherapist or a qualified coach.
Strength training carries a risk of injury. You train at your own risk: warm up, use loads you can handle with proper technique, and consult a professional if you feel pain or have a medical condition.
Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions may be offered in George. They are sold and billed by the App Store or Google Play, under the terms of the store you use; the price and billing period are shown before you buy.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel them. You cancel or manage a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings; deleting the app or your account does not cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own rules.
Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for George, its maintenance or its support.
Termination and account deletion
You can stop using George at any time and delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete my account) or by email: https://www.calerys.com/george/delete-account. Deletion is permanent.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these Terms; except in urgent cases, we will tell you beforehand. If we ever discontinue George, we will give you reasonable notice.
Liability
We do our best to keep George available and reliable, but it is provided as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability or of the accuracy of the coach's replies.
To the extent permitted by law, we are liable only for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Within these limits, we are not liable for injuries resulting from exercise you perform at your own risk, for indirect damage or for loss of data.
Nothing in these Terms limits the mandatory rights you have as a consumer, or any liability that the law does not allow to be excluded.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version. We will inform you of significant changes in the app or by email; if you keep using George afterwards, you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. The courts of Lausanne, Switzerland, have jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence, including your right to bring proceedings before the courts where you live.
